The Funny Cube came about in 2000, from a simple construction of wooden prisms.

It began with one question:

 

"Why not build an advertising product that can take on various shapes?"...That would help improve the object’s visual impact!

 

After several unfruitful attempts, a construction of prisms with adhesive tape resulted in the creation of the “endless possibilities”!

 

The prototype of the Funny Cube was born.

 

Months later, HP became the first company to use this new concept…the first of a series of different magic cubes.
